Welcome. DeDe and I are currently renting a house in the hills of Oakland, California. We live a short drive or BART ride across the bay from San Fransisco. Since both of our families live thousands of miles away, we thought we'd offer a little virtual tour of our house.

Dining Room : The table was given to us by Murray's mom. It has been in the family since ???. She also sent us the ladder-back chairs that I believe have been in the family since Murray's dad was a child. We purchased the two Japanese prints on the wall from the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York) in February 2001. The further of the two masks on the adjacent wall was picked up from a street vendor in Nassau, Bahamas by Murray and his mom in December 1999. The other mask was simply picked up at a local mall because it looks cool (real exciting, I know!). Most of the stuff on the table was purchased in London during our January 2001 trip.

Living Room : The red banner on the wall is a story about the Celtic sun diety, Lugh. We picked up the banner during our trip to Ireland.

Living Room : The picture over the mantle is The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali. The picture over the couch is Reclining Nude by Amadeo Modigliani
